Intermediate/Senior Interior Designer (Remote)

About the role

KulorGroup is seeking a talented and design-driven Intermediate/Senior Interior Designer to join our growing remote design team. This role is suited to an independent & pro-active designer with a strong background in luxury hospitality and residential interiors, capable of developing projects from concept design through schematic design, design development and documentation. Working closely with the Design Director and project teams, you will play a key role in creating thoughtful, refined interiors for international hospitality and resort developments. This is a hands-on design position for someone passionate about design excellence, spatial planning, materiality and creating memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop interior design projects from concept design through schematic design, design development and documentation.

• Prepare space planning, furniture layouts and interior detailing.

• Produce high-quality drawings, 3D models, presentations and design documentation using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Enscape and Indesign.

• Coordinate closely with architects, consultants, suppliers and project teams throughout the design process.

• Ensure design intent and quality are maintained through all project stages.

• Participate in client presentations, coordination workshops and internal design reviews.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture.

• Minimum 5 years' professional experience, preferably in hospitality and high-end residential design.

• Good understanding of spatial planning, materials, detailing and FF&E.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of Indesign & Enscape is an advantage.

• Able to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating & communicating effectively with international teams.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

• Good written and spoken English.
