Join our engineering team as an embedded SDET to build and maintain the testing layer that serves as the ultimate safety net for LintasPay’s fintech platform. You will directly safeguard critical transactional flows (such as QRIS, disbursement, and PPOB) before code hits production.
Key Responsibilities
- Automated Testing: Write and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests for Go and Node.js microservices.
- Test Infrastructure: Build robust test infrastructure (helpers, factories, fixtures) to enable developers to easily write testable code.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites directly into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Code Reviews & Coverage: Collaborate during code reviews to ensure new logic maintains meaningful test coverage and prioritize high-risk areas.
- AI-Assisted Workflow: Productively leverage AI coding tools to accelerate boilerplate generation while critically reviewing the outputs.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Experience: 2–4 years of software engineering or SDET experience, focusing deeply on code testability.
- Programming: Ability to read and write production code (not just test code) using Go or TypeScript (Node.js).
- Testing Core: Proficient in unit test isolation using proper test doubles (mocking/stubbing external dependencies via interfaces) and frameworks like testify (Go) or Jest/Mocha (Node.js).
- Tooling & CI/CD: Strong familiarity with Git workflows (branching and PR flows) and the ability to interpret CI configurations (Jenkinsfile or .gitlab-ci.yml).
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Playwright or Cypress for E2E web automation.
- Experience writing mobile automated tests using Flutter Integration Test.
- Familiarity with load/performance testing tools like k6.
- Prior domain experience in fintech, payment gateways, or PPOB systems.
Tech Stack
Languages: Go, TypeScript (Node.js).
Testing: testify, go-sqlmock, httptest, Jest, Supertest, Mocha, Sinon.
Automation & Infra: Playwright, k6, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, Git.
