IT Network & System Administration (L1 - Shifting)

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated IT Network Engineer to join our IT team. This role requires a technically solid professional with hands-on experience in network infrastructure management, strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and firewall security, and practical experience with networking to ensure seamless and secure network operations across the organization.

Requirement

● 1-2 years of experience in IT Network Engineer or IT Support.

● A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required.

● Deep understanding of TCP/IP protocols, routing protocols, and switching concepts (e.g., VLANs).

● Experience with configuring and managing network devices (router, switch). Fortigate & Fortiswitch brand plus point.

● Knowledge of firewall management, VPNs, and monitoring for security threats using Fortigate.

● Experience with hands-on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), included CloudVPN, Interconnect Partner, CloudNAT, CloudRouter.

● Ability to analyze logs, packet captures, and monitoring data to diagnose issues.

● Familiarity with load balancers for optimizing network traffic.

● Experience with Datadog monitoring system (+ point)

● Knowledge Linux and Windows OS operational.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for troubleshooting complex network issues.

● Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

● Flexibility to adapt to changing environments and work after hours when needed.

● IT Network Security certifications, including Cisco: CCNA, CCNP and Fortinet: NSE 1, 2, 3, 4 (plus point)

Responsibilities

● Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.

● Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

● Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on network systems and devices to ensure optimal performance and security.

● Monitor network performance, analyze network traffic and logs, and diagnose bottlenecks or performance issues.

● Ensure network security by implementing security policies and maintaining firewalls.

● Create and maintain network diagrams, update technical documentation, and keep accurate records of incidents and configurations.

● Ecalating complex issues and collaborating with other IT teams for seamless operations.

● Provide technical guidance and mentorship to L1 support engineers.

● Managing and trobleshooting un-complex OS Linux and Windows problem.
