Role Purpose
The ERA Finance Analyst (Analyst) is responsible for the accurate execution of
standard Energy Reporting & Accounting activities, supporting inventory valuation,
reconciliations, and reporting within a managed services environment.
This role focuses on disciplined execution, adherence to procedures, and timely
escalation of issues.
Key Responsibilities
ERA Transactional Execution
● Support stock valuation activities, including data preparation and validation.
● Assist with inventory GL reconciliations and supporting schedules.
● Prepare standard journal entries under guidance.
● Support physical vs book reconciliation activities.
Controls & Compliance
● Execute assigned control checks and retain required evidence.
● Ensure compliance with ERA procedures and policies.
● Support audit and compliance activities.
Issue Identification & Escalation
● Identify discrepancies in valuation or reconciliation data.
● Perform initial investigation and prepare escalation documentation.
● Escalate issues to Senior Analysts or Team Lead as appropriate.
Stakeholder & Team Support
● Coordinate with internal teams to complete assigned tasks.
● Support documentation and process updates.
● Participate in training and knowledge-sharing activities.
Learning & Capability Development
● Follow standard processes consistently.
● Build understanding of inventory accounting, valuation methods, and controls.
● Develop SAP and ERA domain knowledge to support progression.
Education Requirement
● Minimum S1 (Bachelor’s degree) in Accounting or Finance.
Recommended Certifications
● Basic inventory or accounting training is an advantage.
Skills & Experience Required
Experience
● 1–3 years of experience in Accounting, Inventory Accounting, or related roles.
Technical & Systems
● Working knowledge of SAP Finance.
● Basic understanding of:
o Inventory accounting
o Journal postings
o Reconciliation processes

● Fluent in English (spoken and written).
