Mechanical Engineer - Industrial Hygienist/Field Operations Section Staff

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that Field Operations Section’s deliverables are properly carried out which include the following:

(1) Field operations scheduling: scheduling and arranging customer meetings, site inspections, and testing,plotting schedules to operations calendar in coordination with the Supervisor and/or Manager

(2) Equipment management: performing equipment preventive maintenance, calibrations, and requisitions

(3) Vehicle management: implementing and keeping records of preventive maintenance of department vehicles

(4) Field budget management: requesting, purchasing, issuing, and inventory of field supplies including samplingmedia, consumables, uniform, and PPE

(5) Equipment management: requesting, disbursing, and liquidating project budgets

(6) Ticketing, bookings: searching, evaluating, and requesting for approval/ purchase of tickets (land/sea/air),hotel accommodations, etc.

(7) Internal WEM: monitoring and performing of internal WEM of the company (in coordination with CRDS)Thoroughly understand industrial hygiene test methods and Standard Operating Procedures of the department.

• Perform field testing (IH, WEM, etc.) following the set criteria and frequency for the position/designation held.
• Generate WEM reports following the set criteria and frequency for the position/designation held.
• Immediately notify the immediate superior of projects that may potentially miss the due date.
• Maintain instruments, supplies, and work area in a safe condition in order to conduct assigned work safely.
• Abide by the customers’ policies when working in their facilities.
• Other duties that may be assigned from time-to-time by the President and CEO, Chief Operating Officer, IH-WEM Managing Industrial Hygienist, IH-WEM Supervising Industrial Hygienist, or Section Head
