About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Waiter/Service Staff to join our team at PT Hookah Place Partnership in Badung, Bali. This is a full-time position where you will be at the forefront of our guest experience, delivering exceptional service in a vibrant hospitality environment. As a Waiter/Service Staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring every guest receives outstanding attention to detail, warm hospitality, and seamless service throughout their visit to our establishment.

What you'll be doing

1. Greeting guests with a warm welcome and seating them promptly at appropriate tables

2. Taking accurate food and beverage orders from guests whilst providing recommendations

3. Serving food and beverages in a professional and timely manner

4. Maintaining knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to assist guests with their selections

5. Ensuring tables are set correctly with appropriate cutlery, glassware, and napkins before each service

6. Clearing plates and glasses promptly between courses whilst maintaining table cleanliness

7. Processing payments and handling cash or card transactions accurately

8. Addressing guest queries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy

9. Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service operations

10. Maintaining personal hygiene and adhering to food safety and health standards

11. Resetting and cleaning tables for the next service

12. Assisting with general restaurant maintenance and upkeep throughout shifts

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience in a waiter or service staff role within a hospitality setting

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage courteously with diverse guests

3. Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities

4. Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment

5. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry multiple items safely

6. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

7. A positive attitude and genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service

8. Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards

9. Ability to work effectively as part of a team

10. Fluency in English or Indonesian is highly desirable
