You will ensure that all restoration processes meet the highest industrial quality standards and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Procedure Development: Design and develop Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and oversee Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) specifically for the repair and reclamation of rotating equipment components (e.g., shafts, rotors, casings, and impellers).
Technical Engineering: Select appropriate welding processes and filler materials based on base metal metallurgy (carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steels).
Quality Assurance: Supervise non-destructive testing (NDT) activities and evaluate weld quality, ensuring compliance with international codes and standards (ASME, ASTM, AWS, API, NACE).
Failure Analysis & Troubleshooting: Conduct technical assessments and failure analysis on damaged components to determine root causes and implement effective welding repair solutions.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all welding operations strictly adhere to company HSE policies, engineering specifications, and client requirements.
