About the Role
Responsible for leading the implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs at the mine site to ensure all operational activities comply with HSE standards and regulations, while minimizing workplace incidents and environmental impact.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily HSE activities across all mine site operations
Lead investigation of incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, and risk assessments (HIRARC/JSA)
Develop and deliver HSE training, induction, and toolbox meeting programs for employees and contractors
Monitor compliance with PPE usage, work permits, and safety procedures on-site
Coordinate with government agencies and regulatory bodies on HSE reporting and compliance matters
Lead and mentor Safety Officers and HSE team members in daily field operations
Prepare and present HSE performance reports to site management
Qualifications:
Minimum D3/S1 in Occupational Health & Safety, Mining Engineering, or related field
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HSE, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role within mining or heavy industry
Hold a General OHS Certificate / AK3 Umum (mandatory); POP/POM certificate is an advantage
Strong understanding of mining safety regulations (Kepmen ESDM, PP No. 55 Year 2010)
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Willing to be placed on-site

Physically and mentally fit for remote/site working conditions
Good communication and teamwork skills
Able to work in a fast-paced mining operation environment
