Mechanical Engineer - Electrical

Requirement : 

• Bachelor degree or above, major in mechanical manufacturing and automation, electrical automation, mechatronics, etc.

• At least 5 years working experience in electrical maintenance of large-scale manufacturing equipment, automation engineering company, with certain overseas working background is preferred;

Skills & Knowledge : 

• Proficiency in debugging, programming and optimization of PLC (Siemens) and other programs of one automation equipment, and mastering two or more automation equipment is preferred; 

• Robotic system maintenance (ABB/FANUC teach pendant operations) 

• Industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, PROFIBUS, Modbus TCP) 

• Familiar with the preparation of electrical schematic diagram, understand the electrical schematic diagram; Familiar with sensors, servo motors, stepping motors and other professional technologies in automation field; Familiar with testing machine software testing equipment and upper computer software writing; 

• Clear logical thinking, good driving force and cross-departmental communication and cooperation ability; Familiar with project management knowledge and have certain management ability; 

• Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis (RCA). 

• Ability to work in rotating shifts for 24/7 production support. 

• Fluent in English reading and writing; Mandarin Skill is preferred.

Job Description : 

• Execute scheduled maintenance programs for PLC-controlled systems (e.g., Siemens), robotic cells, and sensor networks. 

• Analyze data from MES systems and IoT sensors to predict equipment failures and optimize maintenance schedules. 

• Maintain spare parts inventory with a focus on critical components (e.g., servo drives, HMIs, vision systems). 

• Diagnose electrical/automation faults using tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and PLC diagnostic software. 5.Resolve issues in robotic arms (ABB/KUKA/FANUC), conveyors, and sorting systems within ≤30 minutes MTTR (Mean Time to Repair). 6.Update PLC ladder logic and robot programs to address recurring operational anomalies. 

• Track OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and implement corrective actions to achieve ≥95% line uptime. 

• Collaborate with mechanical teams to align automation systems with mechanical performance standards.

• Document maintenance activities and failure patterns in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). 

• Ensure all automation systems comply. 

• Conduct risk assessments for automated equipment modifications. 

• Train technicians on basic PLC troubleshooting and safe interaction with robots.
