International Product Sourcing

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate international suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.

• Request, compare, and analyze supplier quotations.

• Negotiate pricing, MOQ, lead time, and payment terms.

• Prepare, issue, and monitor Purchase Orders (POs).

• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure smooth procurement and on-time delivery.

• Manage and control engineering & product documents (drawings, calculations, specifications, method statements).

• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.

• Conduct cost and market analysis to optimize sourcing strategies.

• Resolve procurement and supply issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.

• 1–5 years of experience in drafting engineer, engineering drawings, technical specifications, procurement, sourcing and manufacture products. (Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.)

• Must be fluent in English.

• Good negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of international sourcing, procurement, and product processes.

• Familiar with Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW, DDP, etc.) and import documents (PO, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, B/L or AWB, COO).

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) and Microsoft Office.

• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work under deadlines.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional and international teams.
