Overall Description
Accountable for the delivery and integrity of General Accounting processes and leads the team through month-end close; ensures consistency in accounting policies; acts as primary escalation point for complex accounting processes and collaborates with regional finance stakeholders.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field desirable
- 5-6+ years of work experience in General Accounting
- Management of month-end closing, review of activities, financial reporting and analyses
- Experience in leading accounting professionals and driving process improvement initiatives
- Experience in transitions, stabilization and ERP implementation preferred
- NetSuite experience is highly preferred

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee General Accounting processes including month-end close activities and financial statements
- First point of contact for General Accounting issues
- Manage closing process, reconciliations, adjustments and eliminations
- Responsible for high-quality and timely financial reporting
- Engage stakeholders and provide regular updates
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting requirements
- Collaborate with FP&A, AR and AP teams
- Contribute to process optimization initiatives

Successful in managing General Accounting with accuracy, optimizing processes for efficiency, and engaging stakeholders to provide timely financial insights while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
