We are seeking fluent Japanese and English speakers for a full time remote Interpreter position.
No previous interpreting experience is required. Successful candidates will receive paid training before supporting a major international client.As a Japanese to English Interpreter, you will facilitate accurate and professional communication between Japanese and English speakers during live conversations.
You will interpret spoken dialogue in real time, maintain confidentiality, and ensure every interaction is delivered with accuracy, clarity, and cultural sensitivity.
This role is ideal for bilingual individuals who have strong communication skills and are looking to build a career in professional interpretation. Comprehensive paid training will be provided to prepare successful candidates for live assignments.
Job Requirements
- Native or fluent proficiency in both Japanese and English.
- No previous interpretation experience required. Paid training will be provided.
- Excellent verbal, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Reliable laptop or desktop computer with a webcam and headset.
- Stable, high speed internet connection.
- Available to work full time, starting at 7:00 AM Pacific Time (California, USA)
- Professional, dependable, punctual, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities

- Deliver clear, natural, and culturally appropriate interpretation while preserving the speaker’s intended meaning.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with professional interpretation standards.
- Facilitate effective communication between clients by ensuring accuracy, clarity, and completeness.• Participate in all required training sessions and continuous learning activities.
- Meet quality, productivity, and attendance expectations while working in a remote environment.
- Report technical or operational issues promptly to the appropriate support team.
- Uphold professionalism and provide a positive experience during every interaction.
