Operation Senior Manager

Responsibilites:

·       Ensure smooth daily transhipment and shipping operations, including barging, tugboat, and floating crane activities in accordance with operational targets and schedules

·       Coordinate with Site Operation, Port Captain, Jetty Team, Surveyor, and external parties to support operational activities.

·       Monitor barge movements, tugboat utilization, floating crane productivity, and operational efficiency

·       Develop and / or ensure compliance with company SOP, safety regulations, and maritime laws

·       Conduct risk assessment

·       Control operational costs, fuel usage, demurrage risk, and equipment utilization efficiency

·       Handle operational issues such as weather delays, breakdowns, cargo discrepancies, and scheduling conflicts

·       Prepare operational reports, productivity analysis, and shipment progress updates for top management

·       Supervise and develop operational manpower to ensure effective teamwork and performance

·       Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational reliability

Requirements:

·       Having minimum ANT-1 Certificate or Bachelor’s degree in Shipping, Marine, Engineering, or related field

·       Minimum 10 years of experience in marine operations management

·       Strong understanding of marine logistics, cargo handling, and transhipment operational flow.

·       Experienced in coordinating operational activities with stake holders

·       Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

·       Experience with budget management and cost control.

·       Familiar with HSE standards, ISM Code, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001

·       Proficient in operational reporting and Microsoft Office.

·       Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
