Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and analytical Resource Geologist to join our site Technical Department. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our geological data, taking charge of exploration activities, geological modeling, and resource estimation for our laterite nickel mining operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Exploration Planning & Management: Responsible for designing mine exploration plans, as well as supervising and guiding all on-site exploration activities to ensure targets are met regarding quality and progress.
Geological Modeling & Interpretation: Responsible for constructing, updating, and interpreting geological models of the ore bodies within the mining area, specifically utilizing Ordinary Kriging methods for laterite nickel.
Resource & Reserve Estimation: Conduct highly accurate resource and reserve estimation, including the continuous classification and conversion of resources.
Geological Data Analysis: Perform comprehensive geological data analysis to provide reliable data support for mine planning, extraction strategies, and overall mining operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Geological Engineering.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of extensive working experience in the mining industry. Strong preference for candidates with proven experience in Laterite Nickel mining.
Certification: Must possess a valid POM (Pengawas Operasional Madya) or POU (Pengawas Operasional Utama) certification.
Technical Skills: Possess an in-depth understanding of laterite nickel modeling (specifically Ordinary Kriging) and advanced geological data analysis.
Language & Computer Skills: Must have good proficiency in Professional English. Highly proficient in operating relevant computer applications and geological modeling software.
Work Roster: Willing to be placed at the mining site based on the company's roster schedule.
