Accounting Specialist (3 months project based)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support the migration of financial data from Mekari Jurnal (legacy ERP) to Kingdee ERP. The successful candidate will work closely with the Accounting team to ensure the accurate transfer of master data and opening balances while maintaining data integrity throughout the migration process.

Key Responsibilities

• Extract and organize financial reports, master data, and opening balance information from Mekari Jurnal.

• Perform data entry and migration of Vendor, Customer, Inventory, and Account Opening Balance data into Kingdee ERP.

• Review and validate entered data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Identify and resolve data discrepancies, duplicate entries, and input errors.

• Prepare daily progress reports and support reconciliation between the old and new systems.

• Work closely with the Accounting team to ensure a smooth and accurate ERP migration process.

• Assist with ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks related to the project.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting data entry, finance administration, or accounting support roles.

• Fresh graduates with strong attention to detail are welcome to apply.

• Familiar with Mekari Jurnal ERP is a must.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles, including debit-credit entries and Trial Balance.

• Strong knowledge of account reconciliation, data cut-off processes, adjusting journal entries, and the relationship between sub-ledger and general ledger.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data processing.

• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to work within tight project deadlines.

• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in ERP implementation or data migration projects.

• Familiarity with Kingdee ERP is an advantage.

• Experience handling large volumes of accounting data.
