Technical Project Manager

We are currently establishing a new Development Centre in the Philippines to support our global product and engineering operations as part of our international expansion strategy. We are seeking an experienced, visionary leader to build and manage this centre from the ground up, shaping a high-performing organization critical to delivering our core platform, insurance products, and global support services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the operational launch of the Philippines Development Centre, overseeing recruitment, infrastructure setup, line management, and local compliance.

- Build and manage a multi-disciplinary team, including core platform development (C++, C#), QA, and insurance product analysis.

- Future team oversight may include customer support, web development (ASP.NET, JavaScript), insurance algorithm development, and systems operations.

- Implement robust processes, KPIs, and quality control frameworks to ensure high-quality software and service delivery.

- Partner with UK-based leadership to align on strategy, delivery timelines, and cultural integration.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency, scalability, and engagement.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher.

- 5-10 years of experience leading software development or delivery teams (10+ FTEs).

- Proven success in recruiting, mentoring, and retaining high-performing technical teams.

- Deep understanding of agile delivery, quality assurance, and cross-functional collaboration.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge cross-cultural and time-zone gaps.

- Proficiency in business English.

- Strategic mindset with a hands-on, “can-do” attitude.

- Flexibility to work shift hours that overlap with UK business operations.

- Desirable: A strong background in Microsoft-based software engineering and/or an MBA.
