Project Management Officer

We are a growing maritime logistics company specializing in vessel operations, marine transportation, and port services. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to join our team as a Project Management Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate new shipbuilding projects, as well as dry-docking and retrofit projects for the fleet

• Ensure all projects comply with maritime regulations

• Develop, monitor, and report on project progress against established timelines, budgets (capex), and quality standards

• Identify project risks (operational, regulatory, supply chain) and develop mitigation plans

• Serve as the primary liaison between management, shipyards, vendors, classification societies, and port authorities

• Prepare project status reports and performance dashboards for the board of directors and senior management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Industrial Engineering, Management, or a related field

• PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications are a plus

• Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in the shipping, maritime, logistics, or shipbuilding industries

• Experience managing large capital expenditure (capex) projects involving multiple stakeholders

• Familiarity with newbuilding, dry-docking, or port infrastructure projects is a plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to coordinate with various parties (internal and external)

• Expertise in budget analysis, cost control, and financial planning for large-scale projects

• Knowledge of K3L regulations
