Land Transport Assistant Manager (Balaraja)

PT Matahari Putra Prima Tbk is looking for a Land Transport Assistant Manager to join our team in Balaraja, Banten.

In this role, you will oversee land transportation operations to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective deliveries while collaborating with internal teams and transport partners to maintain excellent service and optimize operational performance.

Responsibilites:

1. Manage end-to-end land transportation operations to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective deliveries.

2. Develop and manage trucking vendor partnerships to support operational excellence and drive continuous performance improvement.

3. Source, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard vendors based on business needs.

4. Monitor vendor performance, service quality, and transportation costs and ensure its compliance.

5. Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth transportation operations.

6. Analyze transportation performance and recommend operational improvements.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

2. Minimum 5 years of experience in land transportation, trucking, or logistics.

3. Preferably from FMCG, Logistics, Transportation, Delivery and any related industries.

4. Proven experience in vendor sourcing, assessment, negotiation, and performance management.

5. Strong network with trucking vendors.

6. Strong vendor relationship management and coordination skills.

7. Fast-paced, agile, and able to work in a dynamic environment.

8. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

9. Willing to be based in Balaraja, Banten and mobile to designated area.
