Assess and underwrite insurance risks for a wide range of financial & miscellaneous products (including liability) line with company guidelines and liaise with relevant section to arrange reinsurance or risk support when needed
Analyze, Monitor, present/report portfolio result and propose corrective actions when required.
Provide and update the technical underwriting guidance, Authority for Risk Acceptance (ARA) and Underwriting Guidance on a yearly basis or on an ad-hoc basis when necessary.
Support the development of new products and review product performance in accordance with the Insurance Product Development Committee decisions.
Keep up with relevant government, Regional/ Head Office related to underwriting
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in any major
At least 5 years experience as Underwriter financial & miscellaneous product
Experience with insurance product submissions and the Product Development Committee (Komite Pengembangan Produk) would be an advantage
Certified in AAAIK / AAIK would be preferrable
Good command in English, both written and spoken
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting, analysis, and data management
Data-oriented with strong analytical thinking
