Job Title: Senior Accounting Manager

Location: Tuguegarao City or Baguio City

Work Setup: On-site

Work Schedule: 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Salary Range: PHP 70,000 – 90,000

Job Summary

The Senior Accounting Manager will lead the overall accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and an efficient close process. This role will work closely with the Accounting Director and oversee outsourced accounting teams while driving continuous process improvements aligned with US GAAP standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee invoice management, including daily review and approval of entries recorded by the outsourced accounting team
• Ensure proper GL coding and accurate store allocation of expenses
• Manage vendor payments (check/ACH) and resolve vendor-related concerns
• Lead weekly financial reporting, including cash forecasts and vendor aging reports
• Drive the monthly financial close process, ensuring timelines and accuracy
• Prepare and review financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow) in accordance with US GAAP
• Review deliverables of outsourced accounting teams and provide guidance, feedback, and process improvements
• Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions to management
• Develop and implement accounting policies, SOPs, and internal controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA preferred; MBA is an advantage
• Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting
• Strong experience in team leadership and stakeholder management
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
• Experience working with outsourced accounting teams is highly preferred
