Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

• Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis

• Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
• Analyze budget variances and provide actionable recommendations to management.
• Develop financial models to support strategic planning and business initiatives.
• Provide profitability, cost, and operational analyses to support decision-making.

SAP Financial Systems Management

• Serve as the Finance subject matter expert for SAP ERP.
• Manage and optimize SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.
• Ensure proper configuration, utilization, and governance of SAP financial processes.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders on SAP enhancements, upgrades, testing, and process improvements.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives utilizing SAP capabilities.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy within SAP-related financial transactions and reporting.

Internal Controls & Compliance

• Maintain effective internal controls and financial governance processes.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, regulatory, and corporate reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and address audit findings promptly.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to strengthen financial controls and mitigate risks.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Monitor cash flow requirements and manage working capital effectively.
• Oversee banking relationships and treasury activities.
• Ensure sufficient liquidity to support operational and strategic objectives.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop members of the finance team.
• Establish performance goals and support employee development initiatives.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
• MBA or advanced finance qualification is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance.
• Minimum 3-5 years in a Finance Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience working in multinational, shared services, manufacturing, retail, or large corporate environments is preferred.

SAP Requirements (Mandatory)

• Extensive hands-on experience with SAP ERP, particularly SAP FI/CO modules.
• Minimum 5 years of end-to-end SAP Finance experience.
• Proven experience in:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• Cost Center Accounting
• Profit Center Accounting
• Internal Orders
• Financial Reporting and Consolidation
• Experience leading SAP implementation, migration, optimization, or transformation projects.
• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP financial solutions.
