Procurement Staff
Support the procurement process by sourcing quality products and services, processing purchase requests, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining cost efficiency and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Process purchase requests from departments accurately and on time.
Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery performance.
Request quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts.
Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO).
Monitor order status and ensure on-time delivery.
Coordinate with receiving and warehouse teams to verify delivered items.
Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier database, and purchasing documents.
Resolve supplier issues related to quality, shortages, or delays.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
Support cost-saving initiatives and supplier performance evaluations.
Assist in inventory planning to prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in hospitality, hotel, or tourism industries.
Experience in handling Daily Market List (DML) purchasing for Food & Beverage operations, including sourcing fresh products, monitoring daily price fluctuations, and ensuring timely deliveries.
Knowledge of fresh food procurement, including vegetables, fruits, meat, seafood, dairy products, and dry goods.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Familiar with procurement processes, inventory management, and cost control.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with procurement systems is an advantage.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
High integrity and a strong sense of responsibility.
