Social Media Moderator – English Speaker

What You'll Do

• Review and evaluate various types of social media content, including videos, images, livestreams, comments, posts, and captions.

• Ensure all content complies with platform policies, guidelines, and community standards.

• Classify and tag content accurately based on established moderation guidelines.

• Analyze user reports and identify content that may contain harmful, sensitive, or inappropriate material.

• Escalate complex or sensitive cases to the appropriate team when necessary.

• Collaborate with team members to support a safe and positive online environment.

• Keep up with the latest updates regarding moderation policies, procedures, and platform changes.

• Provide feedback and recommendations to improve moderation workflows, processes, and tools.

Who We're Looking For

• Minimum education requirement: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) from any field of study.

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Candidates with 0–3 years of experience in Content Moderation, Customer Service, BPO, E-commerce, or related fields are welcome.

• Strong English skills at B2 level or above, including reading, writing, and comprehension (assessment will be conducted during the recruitment process).

• Able to pay close attention to details and handle reviewing large amounts of content.

• Possess good analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute (WPM).

• Willing to work onsite (WFO) at TPID Sleman City Hall, Yogyakarta.

• Open to relocating to Yogyakarta if currently based outside the area.

• Flexible to work on rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays when needed.

• Available to join starting around July 2026.
