Mill Inventory and Logistic Manager

About the role

Mill Inventory and Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing all inventory management and logistics operations at our mill facility.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all inventory control systems and procedures at the mill facility

• Monitor stock levels, conduct regular inventory audits, and ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting

• Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials and finished products

• Optimise warehouse space utilisation and implement efficient storage solutions

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to minimise costs whilst maintaining service quality

• Supervise and train warehouse and logistics personnel to maintain high operational standards

• Prepare and analyse inventory and logistics reports for management review

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within warehouse and logistics operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or a related field

• Proven experience of 10+ years in inventory management and logistics operations, preferably in manufacturing or mill environments

• Strong knowledge of inventory control systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and logistics software

• Demonstrable experience in supply chain optimisation and cost reduction initiatives

• Excellent organisational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Proficiency in data analysis and inventory forecasting techniques

• Familiar with SAP/ERP/CMMS, Inventory Reporting, and Data Analysis System

• Willingness to relocate to or work based in Merauke, South Papua (non-roster)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Indonesian and English

• Familiarity with mill operations and material handling processes is highly desirable
