Accounting and Tax Junior Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting and Tax Jr. Manager to join PT. Milenial Solusi Internusa in a full-time capacity based in South Tangerang, Banten. This is a strategic management position within our accounting function, where you will oversee accounting operations and tax compliance activities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax optimisation, and regulatory compliance across the organisation. This role offers the opportunity to develop your management capabilities whilst contributing to the financial health and integrity of our business.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and manage the accounting team, including staff scheduling, performance monitoring, and professional development

Oversee the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, and bank reconciliation

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards

Manage tax compliance activities, including the preparation and filing of tax returns and ensuring adherence to Indonesian tax regulations

Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and maintain internal controls

Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights to support business decision-making

Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities on financial and tax matters

Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimisation within the accounting function

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements

Provide financial reporting and analysis to senior management as required

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional accounting qualifications (such as CA or equivalent) are highly desirable

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting and tax management roles, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or management capacity

Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

Demonstrated experience in managing accounting teams and mentoring junior staff

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail

Strong understanding of internal controls and financial audit processes

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Indonesian and English

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics
