About the role

We are seeking a talented and creative Videographer & Editor to join PT Bloome Baby Indonesia in Jakarta Barat. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our advertising, arts and media division, specifically within our programmes and production team. As a Videographer & Editor, you will be responsible for capturing, creating and producing high-quality video content that brings our brand story to life and engages our target audience. This role is essential to our content strategy and directly contributes to the visual identity and marketing success of PT Bloome Baby Indonesia.

Key responsibilities

1. Plan, shoot and capture high-quality video footage for various projects including commercials, social media content, promotional materials and brand stories

2. Edit and post-produce video content using professional editing software to ensure polished, broadcast-quality deliverables

3. Collaborate with creative directors, producers and marketing teams to understand project briefs and translate creative concepts into compelling visual narratives

4. Manage video production workflows from pre-production planning through to final delivery, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met

5. Develop creative ideas and contribute to brainstorming sessions to enhance video content strategy and innovative storytelling approaches

6. Colour grade and add visual effects to enhance the aesthetic and impact of video content

7. Manage and organise video assets, footage libraries and project files in a systematic and efficient manner

8. Stay current with industry trends, emerging video production technologies and best practices in videography and editing

9. Operate and maintain video production equipment, ensuring proper care and functionality

10. Work collaboratively with other team members to support multiple concurrent projects and meet production schedules

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a videographer and video editor, with a portfolio demonstrating proficiency in shooting and editing high-quality video content

2. Advanced proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or similar industry-standard platforms

3. Strong technical knowledge of video production equipment, cinematography techniques, lighting and audio recording

4. Excellent understanding of colour grading, motion graphics and visual effects principles

5. Creative eye with the ability to visualise concepts and translate them into engaging visual content

6. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with creative teams and stakeholders

7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines

8. Experience in advertising or media production, particularly with brand-focused or commercial content, is highly desirable

9. Knowledge of social media video formats and optimisation for various digital platforms is a plus

10. Passion for storytelling and a keen interest in the advertising and media industry

11. Flexibility and willingness to learn new technologies and techniques as the field evolves
