JOB POSITION: JUNIOR STORE SUPERVISOR
Job Description
Operational Management
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations across their assigned site, ensuring compliance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct regular store inspections to maintain operational efficiency, product displays, cleanliness, and adherence to safety protocols.
Staff Leadership and Development
- Supervise, coach, and motivate team members to enhance performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the onboarding, training, and development of new employees fostering a positive work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and carry out necessary disciplinary actions to address poor performance.
Inventory and Financial Management
- Monitor sales performance, analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and implement action plans to achieve or exceed sales targets and budget goals.
- Oversee inventory control procedures, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste by verifying the store crew’s opening and closing inventory records and reports.
- Prepare and monitor expenses, budgets, and various management reports, including profit and loss statements, sales data, and labor reports for assigned branch.
Quality and Compliance
- Ensure strict compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols.
- Address and resolve product and service quality issues promptly and professionally handle escalated customer complaints.
Marketing and Strategy
- Collaborate with the marketing team to oversee the implementation of marketing promotions, seasonal product rollouts, and other initiatives.
- Collect customer feedback and observe customer spending behavior to effectively upsell products and align sales efforts with marketing initiatives.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience in multi-unit management, food production, or the retail bakery industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, customer service, and food safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, and report preparation.
- Experience with e-commerce commerce food delivery apps (ex. GrabFood) is an advantage.
- Willing to work at the assigned branch location.
- Open to work in a shifting schedule, including weekends and holidays.
