Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Executive in Jakarta, Indonesia. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, delivering product demonstrations, and collaborating with the marketing and solution consultants to convert prospects into long-term clients.
Required Qualifications
Academic or practical knowledge of Supply Chain concepts (e.g. demand planning, inventory management, procurement, logistics, and S&OP).
Strong communication and presentation skills in an engaging way and fluent in English.
Proven ability to quickly learn new technology, its benefits, and how it can be leveraged to achieve business goals & objectives.
Able to clearly articulate concepts and business benefits to technical and non-technical audiences.
What You Will Do
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in target markets and verticals.
Proactively generate new opportunities via outbound activities.
Conduct discovery calls, product presentations, and solution demonstrations.
Manage the full sales cycle — from lead generation to contract negotiation and close.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools.
Collaborate closely with marketing on campaigns, events, and lead generation activities.
Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in the Supply Chain space. Assist the sales, business development, and marketing teams as the subject matter expert for the company's Supply Chain Management solution.
Lead discussions in the areas of Supply Chain Management, demand planning, inventory optimization, and S&OP. Use market and technical knowledge to consult on best practices and provide direction to customers/prospects on how they can achieve their goals & objectives with the company's software and services.
Create and deliver powerful, customized presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts that highlight how the product can solve a prospect's specific business challenges.
Communicate customer's business and technical requirements to the Professional Services team to ensure a smooth transition to post-sales.
Bring customer-facing perspective to internal teams and convey feedback to product management, product marketing, and research & development teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in B2B software sales, preferably within Supply Chain Management, ERP, BI, or planning/logistics solutions.
Natural presenter with great interpersonal skills and comfortable in the spotlight.
Able to gather and understand business requirements, current challenges, and propose solutions.
You have a thirst for knowledge and enjoy researching and uncovering solutions to problems.
