SPA Supervisor

Ayatara Resort Ubud is seeking an inspiring and service-driven Spa Supervisor to lead our wellness team in delivering world-class spa experiences. The ideal candidate is passionate about luxury hospitality, holistic wellness, and creating meaningful moments that reflect the tranquility and cultural richness of Ubud. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily operations of the Spa to ensure exceptional guest experiences in accordance with the resort's luxury service standards.

• Lead, coach, and motivate the Spa team to consistently deliver personalized and professional wellness services.

• Monitor therapist performance, service quality, grooming, hygiene, and compliance with Spa Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Coordinate daily treatment schedules, therapist assignments, and guest appointments to maximize operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.

• Ensure treatment rooms, wellness facilities, equipment, and amenities are maintained in excellent condition at all times.

• Handle guest feedback, special requests, and service recovery professionally to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.

• Promote and upsell spa treatments, wellness packages, and retail products to achieve departmental revenue targets.

• Conduct regular training sessions and performance evaluations to develop team competency and maintain service excellence.

• Manage inventory of spa supplies, linens, retail products, and operating equipment while ensuring proper stock control.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, including revenue performance, guest feedback, and team productivity.

• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and resort policies at all times.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Spa & Wellness Management, Tourism, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or internationally recognized wellness spa.

• Strong knowledge of spa operations, wellness concepts, massage therapies, body treatments, and luxury guest service standards.

• Excellent leadership, coaching, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Proven ability to lead multicultural teams while maintaining high levels of employee engagement and motivation.

• Strong organizational, administrative, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

• Good understanding of retail sales strategies, inventory control, and revenue optimization.

• Excellent command of spoken and written English; additional foreign language(s) will be an advantage.

• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
