The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Operations Process Manager to drive operational excellence, governance, and process standardization across TERA Data Centers' hyperscale operations in Indonesia. This role is ideal for an operations professional with a passion for designing efficient operational processes, improving organizational performance, and building scalable operating models. Rather than managing day-to-day facility operations, the Operations Process Manager focuses on establishing operational frameworks, ensuring process compliance, optimizing workflows, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across multiple data center facilities. Working closely with Campus Operations Managers, Facility Operation Managers, Technical Service Managers, Engineering teams, and corporate stakeholders, you will play a key role in developing standardized operational processes that support TERA's commitment to operational excellence, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Cluster Operations Manager, the Operations Process Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving operational processes, governance, and management systems across all assigned data center operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop, implement, and maintain standardized operational policies, procedures, and engineering governance across multiple data center facilities.

• Establish and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Method of Procedure (MOP), Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP), and operational playbooks.

• Develop standardized workflows for maintenance, incident management, change management, problem management, and operational readiness.

• Ensure operational processes comply with company policies, customer requirements, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.

• Lead operational audits, compliance assessments, and process reviews to identify improvement opportunities.

• Monitor operational performance metrics, KPIs, and Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and recommend corrective actions where necessary.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar operational excellence methodologies.

• Involve in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reviews for significant operational incidents and ensure corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented.

• Develop governance frameworks for engineering documentation, operational records, and quality management systems.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Projects, Commissioning, EHS, Security, and Customer Operations teams to ensure operational consistency across all facilities.

• Support operational readiness planning for new data center facilities, expansions, and infrastructure upgrades.

• Prepare operational performance reports and present recommendations to senior management.

Operational Excellence Responsibilities

The Operations Process Manager is responsible for building a culture of operational discipline, standardization, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Responsibilities include:

• Establish operational governance and process ownership across engineering and operations teams.

• Standardize maintenance planning, work management, and change management processes.

• Develop operational scorecards and dashboard reporting for executive management.

• Coordinate internal operational audits and support external customer audits and certifications.

• Improve operational efficiency through workflow optimization, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.

• Support implementation of ISO standards and operational management systems.

• Ensure consistency of operational documentation across all campuses.

• Develop lessons learned programs and knowledge management practices.

• Facilitate cross-functional operational reviews and best-practice sharing between campuses.

• Promote operational excellence, quality, accountability, and continuous learning throughout the organization.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Management, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in mission-critical operations, operational excellence, quality management, or process improvement within one or more of the following industries:

o Data Centers

o Power Plants

o Semiconductor Manufacturing

o Oil & Gas

o Aviation

o Mining

o Hospitals

o Critical Infrastructure

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading operational improvement or process management initiatives.

• Strong understanding of operational governance, quality systems, and business process management.

• Experience developing operational procedures and management systems within a 24×7 operational environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within hyperscale or enterprise data center environments.

• Strong knowledge of:

o Operational Governance

o Process Improvement Methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)

o Incident Management

o Change Management

o Preventive Maintenance Programs

o Risk Management

o Operational Readiness

o ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 45001, or ISO 50001 management systems.

• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM), and workflow automation tools.

• Strong analytical, reporting, and data visualization skills.

• Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills.

• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority.

• Professional certification in Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, Quality Management, or Process Improvement is an advantage.
