Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location: Tangerang, Indonesia
Position Overview
Our client, a leading and well-established corporation, is seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company's overall finance function and support its long-term business growth. Reporting directly to the CEO and Board of Directors, the CFO will be responsible for developing financial strategies, strengthening operational excellence, driving business performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making.
The successful candidate will possess an exceptional blend of strategic financial leadership and hands-on operational finance expertise, with proven experience leading finance organizations within large multinational or publicly listed companies.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
Develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives and long-term growth plans.
Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors on financial planning, investments, mergers & acquisitions, capital allocation, and business expansion.
Lead enterprise-wide financial transformation initiatives to improve profitability and shareholder value.
Evaluate investment opportunities, business cases, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Lead corporate budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial modeling.
Drive financial performance through robust KPI monitoring and variance analysis.
Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
Develop financial dashboards and executive reporting for senior leadership.
Financial Operations
Oversee all aspects of:
Accounting & Financial Reporting
Treasury Management
Cash Flow Management
Tax Planning & Compliance
Accounts Receivable
Accounts Payable
General Ledger
Fixed Assets
Cost Accounting
Shared Service Finance (where applicable)
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
Business Performance Management
Partner with business leaders to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Drive working capital optimization and cash flow improvement initiatives.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization and productivity enhancement.
Monitor financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Corporate Governance & Compliance
Ensure full compliance with IFRS/PSAK, taxation regulations, statutory reporting, and corporate governance requirements.
Maintain strong internal controls and financial governance.
Lead relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, regulators, banks, and investors.
Treasury & Capital Management
Manage banking relationships, financing arrangements, and capital structure.
Optimize liquidity, foreign exchange exposure, and funding strategies.
Lead debt restructuring or capital raising activities when required.
Risk Management
Develop enterprise financial risk management frameworks.
Monitor financial, operational, regulatory, and market risks.
Ensure business continuity through sound financial controls.
Leadership & People Development
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance organization.
Develop succession planning and leadership capabilities within the finance team.
Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
General Requirements
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
MBA or Master's Degree from a reputable international university is highly preferred.
Overseas education from leading universities in the US, UK, Europe, Australia, Singapore, or other internationally recognized institutions is strongly preferred.
Professional Certifications
Candidates should possess one or more internationally recognized professional certifications, such as:
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
Chartered Accountant (CA)
Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
Certified Public Accountant ?CPA?
ACCA ?advantageous?
Experience
Minimum 18–20 years of progressive finance experience.
At least 8–10 years serving as CFO, Deputy CFO, or Finance Director within a large corporation.
Proven track record in multinational corporations, publicly listed companies, or large regional businesses.
Experience managing finance organizations with revenues exceeding USD 300 million is preferred.
