Warehouse Custodian

Job Summary:

The Stock Custodian is responsible for the safekeeping, monitoring, receiving, storing, and issuance of inventory stocks. The role ensures accurate inventory records, proper stock handling, and compliance with company inventory control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and inspect incoming stocks and materials against delivery documents.

Properly store and organize inventory to maintain quality and prevent losses.

Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of inventory.

Record all stock movements accurately in inventory logs or systems.

Issue stocks and supplies based on approved requisitions.

Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile variances.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of stockroom/storage areas.

Ensure compliance with FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and other inventory management standards.

Prepare inventory reports and submit them to management as required.

Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse personnel, and store management regarding inventory concerns.

Safeguard company assets and report any discrepancies, damages, or potential losses immediately.

Qualifications

Graduate of any business-related course or equivalent experience.

Experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or stock control is an advantage.

Knowledge of inventory systems and Microsoft Excel.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Honest, trustworthy, and able to handle company assets responsibly.
