Ticketing (Travel Consultant)

About the Role

Smailing Tour is a leading travel agency specializing in Corporate Travel Management, Meetings & Events (MICE), and curated travel experiences. We are seeking a service-oriented and detail-driven Travel Consultant to support our travel services.

In this role, you will handle personalized travel arrangements, create tailored itineraries, and ensure seamless execution for clients. This position is ideal for professionals who are customer-focused, attentive to detail, and experienced in managing both corporate and individual travel needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and customized travel experiences

• Design and prepare personalized travel itineraries based on client preferences and requirements

• Provide consultation on destinations, airlines, accommodations, and travel options

• Handle ticketing processes (booking, issuance, reissuance, and refund) for domestic and international travel

• Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and partners to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery

• Assist clients with travel documentation, including visas, travel insurance, and other requirements

• Ensure accuracy in all travel arrangements and compliance with applicable regulations

• Stay updated with travel trends, destinations, and airline policies

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Tourism & Hospitality (open to high school graduates with related work experience)

• Minimum 1 years of experience as a Travel Consultant, preferably handling corporate or premium clients

• Strong knowledge of international travel, airlines, and accommodation options

• Proficient in GDS systems such as Galileo, Sabre, Abacus, or Althea

• Fluent in English (both written and spoken); additional languages such as Mandarin are a plus

• Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a customer-oriented mindset
