Job Summary

The Head of Marketing will be responsible for building and leading the Company's Marketing Department from the ground up, driving brand development, market expansion, customer acquisition, dealer network growth, and overall business growth. This role is expected to establish the Company as one of Malaysia's leading precious metals brands and develop strategic marketing initiatives that strengthen the Company's competitive position against major industry players. The successful candidate will be a commercially driven marketing leader with a proven track record in building brands, developing high-performing teams, generating measurable business growth, and executing large-scale marketing campaigns.


Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Department Development

  • Develop and execute the Company's overall marketing strategy.

  • Build the Marketing Department from the ground up.

  • Recruit, mentor and lead a high-performing marketing team.

  • Develop annual marketing plans, budgets and growth strategies.

  • Establish clear KPIs and performance measurement systems.


2.Brand Development & Positioning

  • Develop and strengthen the Company's brand positioning within the precious metals industry.

  • Build a trusted, reputable and recognizable brand across Malaysia.

  • Create and implement long-term brand-building strategies.

  • Develop brand guidelines, messaging frameworks and communication standards.

  • Lead corporate branding and reputation management initiatives.

  • Ensure consistent brand identity across all customer touchpoints.


3.Business Growth & Revenue Generation

  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives that directly contribute to revenue growth and market share expansion.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Business Development teams to drive customer acquisition and retention.

  • Develop growth strategies targeting retail, wholesale, dealer and corporate segments.

  • Identify new business opportunities, market segments and strategic partnerships.

  • Establish revenue-linked marketing KPIs and ROI targets.

  • Support the Company's long-term expansion strategy through data-driven marketing initiatives.

 

4.Digital Marketing & Customer Acquisition

  • Lead all digital marketing initiatives including SEO, SEM, Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, YouTube and other relevant platforms.

  • Develop integrated marketing funnels and lead generation systems.

  • Drive customer acquisition, engagement and conversion through digital channels.

  • Implement CRM, customer journey mapping and marketing automation strategies.

  • Optimize marketing campaigns using analytics and performance data.

  • Stay updated with emerging digital trends and technologies.


5.Market Expansion & Competitive Strategy

  • Conduct market research, customer insights analysis and competitor benchmarking.

  • Develop strategies to increase market share and strengthen competitive positioning.

  • Identify opportunities for regional and nationwide market expansion.

  • Lead strategic initiatives to improve customer reach and market penetration.

  • Monitor industry developments, consumer behaviour and market trends.

 

6.Dealer, Agent & Channel Development

  • Develop and implement dealer recruitment and retention strategies.

  • Build and expand nationwide dealer, agent and referral partner networks.

  • Design channel development programs and partner engagement initiatives.

  • Develop marketing support tools and sales enablement materials for business partners.

  • Strengthen dealer performance through training, communication and collaborative marketing programs.

  • Establish long-term relationships with strategic partners and key stakeholders.

 

7.Campaigns, Events & Market Activation

  • Develop and execute nationwide marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, lead generation and customer acquisition.

  • Lead the planning and execution of roadshows, exhibitions, trade fairs, investment seminars, dealer conventions and corporate events.

  • Identify and secure participation in relevant industry exhibitions, investment expos and business networking events.

  • Develop impactful brand activation initiatives to strengthen market presence.

  • Manage event agencies, vendors, sponsorship opportunities and strategic partnerships.

  • Ensure all campaigns and events deliver measurable business outcomes and ROI.

  • Evaluate campaign effectiveness, lead conversion and customer acquisition performance.

 

8.Content, Communications & Public Relations

  • Develop and oversee the Company's content strategy across all platforms.

  • Manage website, social media and digital communications.

  • Create educational and investment-related content to strengthen market credibility.

  • Lead public relations, media engagement and corporate communication activities.

  • Establish thought leadership positioning within the precious metals industry.

  • Manage crisis communication and reputation management when necessary.

 

9.Performance Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and analyse marketing performance, customer acquisition costs and campaign ROI.

  • Monitor brand awareness, customer engagement and market share growth.

  • Develop monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports.

  • Present strategic recommendations and performance insights to Management.

  • Continuously improve marketing effectiveness through data-driven decision making.

 

10.Corporate & Employer Branding

  • Strengthen the Company's corporate image and market reputation.

  • Support employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.

  • Position the Company as a preferred employer within the industry.

  • Collaborate with HR on talent attraction and employee engagement campaigns.


Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related discipline.

  • MBA or relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.

  • Minimum 12 years of marketing experience.

  • Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role.

  • Proven experience leading and managing marketing teams.

  • Demonstrated success in brand building, customer acquisition and business growth.

  • Strong experience in both strategic and hands-on marketing execution.

  • Experience managing external agencies, media partners and vendors.
