Production Supervisor

Job Description

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production operations to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company quality standards. This role supervises production personnel, monitors productivity, ensures compliance with food safety regulations, and coordinates with other departments to meet production targets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to ensure production schedules and targets are achieved.
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with company standards and food safety regulations.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sanitation, and workplace safety policies.
• Lead, train, and motivate production personnel to achieve operational goal.
• Monitor the proper use of raw materials and minimize production waste.
• Identify production issues and implement corrective actions to prevent delays.
• Prepare and submit daily production reports, including output, downtime, and manpower utilization.
• Ensure production equipment is properly maintained and report any maintenance concerns promptly.
• Conduct regular toolbox meetings and reinforce company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, and occupational health and safety regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work on weekends, and holidays when required.
