About the role

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Aman Makan Lezat in East Denpasar, Bali. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage all aspects of our restaurant operations. As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery, maintaining operational excellence, and creating a welcoming environment for our guests. This role is pivotal in driving the success of our establishment and upholding the high standards for which Aman Makan Lezat is known.

Key responsibilities

1. Oversee all daily restaurant operations, including service quality, staff performance, and customer satisfaction

2. Manage and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management

3. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, as well as local and international food safety standards

4. Monitor inventory levels, control food and beverage costs, and manage purchasing to maximise profitability

5. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally to maintain guest satisfaction

6. Implement and maintain restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards

7. Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue optimisation

8. Maintain restaurant facilities and equipment, ensuring a clean and pleasant dining environment

9. Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient order preparation and timely delivery

10. Develop and execute marketing strategies and promotional activities to attract and retain customers

11. Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure quality products at competitive prices

12. Analyse sales data and guest feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and growth

What we're looking for

1. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management or a similar hospitality management role

2. Proven track record of successfully managing a restaurant or food service establishment with multiple staff members

3. Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including point-of-sale systems, inventory management, and financial controls

4. Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff

5. Outstanding customer service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality

6. Proficiency in English; additional languages such as Indonesian, Mandarin, or other regional languages are advantageous

7. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

8. Knowledge of food and beverage operations, menu planning, and cuisine trends

9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively

10. Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

11. Familiarity with hospitality management software and basic accounting principles

12. A flexible approach to work, including availability for weekends and public holidays as required
