Role Overview
We're looking for a Senior React / Frontend Lead to own the component architecture for a large-scale website build (200+ pages) powered by Storyblok headless CMS. You'll be the person who sets the standard for design system consistency across the entire site, working from completed Figma designs alongside a backend Node.js developer.
Responsibilities
Own and drive component architecture decisions across a 200+ page website build
Enforce design system consistency across all pages and components
Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, production-ready React components
Build and maintain a reusable, scalable component library
Implement and configure Storyblok as the headless CMS layer
Apply Next.js rendering strategies (SSR/SSG/ISR) appropriately across different page types
Collaborate closely with a backend Node.js developer to ensure smooth integration
Requirements
Required Skills
4+ years of hands-on React experience
Hands-on experience specifically with Storyblok (not just any headless CMS)
Strong Figma-to-code track record with a focus on pixel-perfect implementation
Experience with Next.js, including SSR, SSG, and ISR rendering patterns
Demonstrated ability to build and enforce a reusable component library
Comfortable collaborating closely with backend engineers in a small, fast-moving team
Preferred Skills
Experience with content-heavy websites
Tailwind CSS
Experience configuring the Storyblok Visual Editor
Engagement Details
Engagement Type: Contract, project-based, with possibility of extension
Estimated Duration: Approximately 3 months, depending on ramp-up
Timezone Expectation: Central Europe working hours
