Social Media Video Editor (English Required | Mandarin is a Plus)

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to produce engaging social media content for international audiences.

If you enjoy storytelling through short-form videos, understand what makes content perform on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts, and have a good sense of pacing, trends, and visual aesthetics, we'd love to hear from you.

This role requires someone who is proactive, reliable, and capable of working independently while maintaining high-quality output.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts

• Produce long-form videos when required

• Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, sound effects, and background music

• Color correction and basic audio enhancement

• Create engaging hooks within the first 3–5 seconds

• Follow branding guidelines while maintaining creative freedom

• Organize project files efficiently

• Meet project deadlines consistently

• Communicate effectively with the content and marketing team

• Suggest creative improvements and editing ideas

Requirements

Must Have

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Video Editor

• Proficient in Video Editing tools

• Strong understanding of social media content trends

• Good storytelling ability through video editing

• Able to work with fast turnaround times

• Strong attention to detail

• Good English communication skills (written and spoken)

• Able to follow English instructions without translation

• Responsible, disciplined, and self-motivated

Nice to Have

• Able to speak or understand Mandarin Chinese

• Experience editing content for international audiences

• Familiar with AI editing tools

• Experience creating viral short-form content

• Motion graphics experience

• Graphic design skills

• Photography or videography experience
