The Chief Finance Officer (CFO) is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership, planning, and management of the Company's financial operations. The CFO oversees accounting, treasury, budgeting, taxation, financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, risk management, and investment activities to ensure the organization's financial stability, profitability, and sustainable growth.
The CFO serves as a key member of the executive leadership team and provides financial insights and recommendations that support business objectives and long-term corporate strategies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Financial Strategy and Leadership
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the Company's vision, mission, and business goals.
- Provide financial leadership and strategic recommendations to the CEO, President, and Board of Directors.
- Evaluate financial performance and recommend actions to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Lead long-term financial planning and forecasting activities.
Financial Management and Reporting
- Direct and oversee all accounting and finance functions of the Company.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of accurate financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity requirements.
- Establish and maintain effective financial reporting systems and procedures.
- Present financial results, forecasts, and analyses to senior management and stakeholders.
Budgeting and Cost Control
- Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Implement cost-control measures and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Analyze operational expenditures and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
Compliance, Taxation, and Internal Controls
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, labor regulations, and government requirements.
- Oversee tax planning, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting.
- Develop and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
- Coordinate with external auditors, government agencies, and regulatory authorities during audits and inspections.
Treasury and Risk Management
- Manage banking relationships, financing activities, and capital structure.
- Oversee cash management, investments, and debt obligations.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Develop financial risk management policies and contingency plans.
Corporate Governance and Business Development
- Support mergers, acquisitions, investments, and corporate restructuring activities.
- Participate in strategic business planning and expansion initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards and ethical financial practices.
- Provide financial due diligence and feasibility studies for new projects and investments.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance and Accounting Department.
- Establish performance standards and monitor departmental objectives.
- Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
- Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, or equivalent is an advantage.
- Minimum of ten (1-2) years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or corporate financial management.
- At least five (3) years of experience in a senior management or executive-level finance position.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), taxation, corporate finance, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, treasury management, and financial analysis.
- Proficient in ERP systems, financial software, and Microsoft Office applications.
