The HMA Group, a Multi-disciplined engineering and project management organisation is looking for a talented Draftsman to join our Wear Solution division in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Engineer Draftsman

(Jakarta Selatan-DKI Jakarta)

The key objectives of this position will be to support the greater sales team in all aspects of drafting to produce both sales related concepts and manufacturing drawings suitable for production.

The ideal candidate will need to satisfy the following criteria:

Key responsibilities:

1. Creating accurate CAD drawings from hand sketches, verbal instructions, site visits and pipe scan result, ideally has drafting experience with piping system.

2. Work with our team of Design engineers to produce detailed modelling and drafting of new and existing products utilising Autodesk Inventor and CAD software.

3. Experienced in 3D drafting using Faro laser scanning equipment; highly regarded

4. Thinking creatively and critically to support the project team in the design process, to create sketches and drawings that work.

5. Optimise the design, manufacture, and installation of Wear Solution products.

6. Provide information and support to our Engineering and sales divisions as well as a customers and clients.

7. Ensure that the quality of output of the designs from HMA is in line with the needs of the customer and regulatory authorities.

Core competencies and skills:

Essential:

• Minimum of 1 year experience with Autodesk Inventor, and CAD software in an engineering environment

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience with piping system

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply if they possess relevant skills

• Possess strong computer skills around the Microsoft Office suite

• Able to effectively manage one’s time.

• Ability to work within the company's QA system and Code of Business Conduct

• Fluent in English with good verbal, written, interpersonal and organisational skills

• Highly Motivated & Enthusiastic

• Excellent time management

• Ability to work autonomously

Ideally the successful candidate will have a strong engineering background. We are looking for people who are "hands on", can think for themselves and have the drive to get the project completed on time. A solid understanding of engineering and technical principles is required along with the ability to effectively communicate details and objectives within project teams, sub-contractors and clients.
