Job Description(s):
Ensure all road and infrastructure maintenance activities (hauling road improvement & repair) are executed in accordance with approved SOPs, HSE standards, and company policies.
Supervise daily operational activities of the sub-section to ensure work is performed safely, effectively, and efficiently.
Develop operational work plans for the sub-section in line with department programs and defined targets.
Ensure achievement of road maintenance and improvement targets (quality, cost, and timeline).
Drive continuous improvement of safety programs to achieve Zero LTI.
Monitor construction quality and compliance with technical standards.
Supervise, monitor, and evaluate the performance of internal manpower and subcontractors under the MTL scope.
Conduct performance appraisal for subordinates and ensure follow-up development plans based on competency gaps.
Identify and prepare potential successors as part of the employee succession plan.
Propose annual budget for the sub-section.
Control operational costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
Prepare and submit monthly operational reports according to departmental requirements.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and contractors to ensure smooth execution of work programs.
Propose improvements or changes to SOPs when operational inefficiencies or risks are identified.
Perform additional tasks assigned by superiors related to departmental functions.
Requirement(s)
Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure / Construction Engineering or related technical disciplines
Fresh graduated are welcome to apply, preferably with minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in road construction or hauling road maintenance
Strong understanding of hauling road construction & maintenance, heavy equipment operations (grader, compactor, excavator, batching plant), construction quality control
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work plans and schedules
Budgeting and basic cost control knowledge.
Strong knowledge of mining safety standards, risk assessment and hazard control
Proven commitment to achieving Zero LTI performance.
Proficient in basic MS Office (Excel, Word, reporting)
