ENDP - Process Engineer (Cikupa, Banten)

Job Description:

1. Process Optimization: Analyze daily operational data to identify inefficiencies and provide technical recommendations to improve production unit performance.

2. Troubleshooting: Being at the forefront of diagnosing technical problems in process equipment and providing short-term and long-term solutions.

3. Safety Management (PSM): Actively participate in process safety studies such as HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study) and LOPA (Layer of Protection Analysis) to ensure operational risks are at a minimum level.

4. Design & Projects: Prepare and review technical documents such as PFD (Process Flow Diagram), P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram), and equipment specifications for plant modification or expansion projects.

5. Energy Monitoring: Auditing energy and auxiliary chemical consumption to ensure the plant is operating as economically as possible without sacrificing product quality.

6. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Operations and Maintenance team to plan plant turnaround (TA) or shutdown schedules.

7. Coordinate for daily report input: Production data, utility data, and inventory data.

8. Prepare monthly operation reports.

9. Prepare data analysis and presentation for reports to Management.

Skill and Requirements:

1. Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Chemical Engineering.

2. 1-3 years in manufacturing/petrochemical industry.

3. Proficient in operating simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, PRO/II, or UniSim

4. Ability to read, review, and revise Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFD).

5. Mastering mass and energy balance calculations, reaction kinetics, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics both manually and digitally.

6. Understand process safety methodologies such as HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study), LOPA, and SIL (Safety Integrity Level) standards.

7. Proficient in using Microsoft Excel (Advanced) for big data processing.
