Responsibilities
Manage import and export operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and documentation requirements.
Coordinate and oversee shipping arrangements, including vessel booking for cargo transportation.
Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and customs agents to facilitate smooth and timely shipments.
Handle truck arrangements, optimizing routes, and managing logistics for land transportation.
Track shipments, maintain inventory, and resolve any shipping- related issues or delays.
Negotiate contracts, rates and services with vendors and carriers to ensure cost-effective logistics solutions.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits, reporting, and compliance purpose.
Requirements:
Good command of English, with the ability to communicate and report directly to our Head Office in Singapore.
Proven experience in import/export operation, including vessel booking and logistics arrangement.
Strong knowledge of import/export, documentation and customs procedures.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using logistic software (CEISA 4.0 system) and MS office.
Familiar with Bonded Logistics Centre (PLB) procedures and regulations.
Familiar with plant quarantine procedures and regulations.
Familiar with Bonded Warehouse IT-Inventory system.
Exceptional communication skills.

12 days Annual Leave for every full year of service or prorated according to the completed calendar months of service, and 14 days after completion of third year service.

The Company shall grant paid sick leave not exceeding 14 working days per annum if no hospitalization is needed, or 60 days per annum if hospitalization is necessary, on production of a medical certificate from our company doctor or any Government medical officer.
