Scrum Master

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our Banking Technology team. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile practices, foster collaboration across cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful delivery of digital banking initiatives. The Scrum Master will act as a servant leader, helping teams adopt Agile principles, remove impediments, improve team performance, and promote continuous improvement while aligning with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions.
• Coach and mentor Scrum Teams on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and best practices.
• Act as a servant leader by removing impediments and enabling the development team to deliver high-quality products.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners to ensure product backlogs are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for development.
• Monitor sprint progress, team velocity, and delivery metrics to improve team performance and predictability.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement through retrospectives, feedback, and process optimization.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, vendors, and business units to ensure successful project execution.
• Promote transparency and effective communication among development teams and stakeholders.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and blockers, and facilitate timely resolution.
• Support Agile transformation initiatives and encourage Agile adoption across the organization.
• Ensure Agile governance, documentation, and reporting are maintained in accordance with organizational standards.
• Track and report Agile metrics, including sprint burndown, velocity, cycle time, and team capacity.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and Development Teams to ensure successful product delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Agile Project Lead.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles.
• Proven experience facilitating Agile ceremonies for multiple Scrum Teams.
• Experience managing Agile delivery within enterprise-scale software development environments.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum framework, Agile metrics, and continuous improvement practices.
• Experience using Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
