Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role:

PT. Total Visual Media Distribusi Indonesia (formerly PT. TOSHIBA VISUAL MEDIA NETWORK INDONESIA) is a growing electronics sales and distribution company seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee, audit, and align the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) manufacturing process for residential air conditioning products from a Global Premium Home Appliance Brand. This role is responsible for ensuring the GMP well implemented in the OEM Manufacturer, and the final quality inspection may meet with the quality standard. Preferable for candidate who has long experiences in consumer electronics industry and used work in the factory.

Job Overview:

·         Role Level: Managerial

·         Location: Jakarta

·         Employment Status: Open to freelance, contract, full-time, or permanent arrangements.

·         Age Limit: No upper age limit. Senior professionals and retirees with the required expertise are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Act as the main Quality Assurance liaison between the brand principal and OEM factory management.

·         Oversee, monitor, and enforce strict quality control protocols from raw material, WIP and Finished Goods at the OEM partner plant.

·         Audit production lines, component sourcing, and testing processes to ensure full brand compliance.

·         Mediate and resolve technical quality issues and supply chain defects between both parties.

·         Define preventive and corrective actions for product quality non-conformities.

Required Qualifications:

·         Industry Experience: Minimum 10 years, or an extensive long-term track record, in an air conditioning or refrigeration (HVAC) manufacturing plant.

·         Past Roles: Required background as Quality Assurance Manager or Engineering Manager in consumer electronics industry.

·         Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Air Conditioning systems including quality management system, failure analysis and compliance toward standards.

·         Leadership Skills: Excellence communication and focus to problem solving through root cause analysis and assertive to reach the quality standards.

·         Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

·         Languages: Full professional proficiency in English is required.
