Key Responsibilities:
1. Fleet / Motor pool Management
- Supervise daily operations of the motor pool and company drivers
- Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained, serviced, and in good running condition
- Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and mileage
- Schedule preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs
- Maintain updated records of vehicle registration, insurance, and permits
2. Logistics Coordination
- Plan and coordinate transportation of materials, equipment, and personnel
- Ensure timely delivery and dispatch of goods to project sites or clients
- Optimize routes and scheduling to reduce cost and improve efficiency
- Coordinate with warehouse and project teams for delivery requirements
3. Driver Supervision
- Assign drivers and monitor attendance, performance, and discipline
- Ensure drivers follow company policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations
- Conduct regular toolbox meetings or safety briefings
- Evaluate driver performance and recommend training if needed
4. Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain logs of vehicle usage, trip tickets, fuel issuance, and repairs
- Prepare regular reports on fleet status, costs, and logistics performance
- Monitor and control transportation-related expenses
5. Safety and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and company safety standards
- Investigate accidents or vehicle incidents and prepare reports
- Implement safety programs and preventive measures
6. Inventory and Asset Control
- Monitor tools, spare parts, and fuel inventory
- Ensure proper issuance and control of motor pool supplies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in logistics, fleet, or motor pool supervision
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and transport operations
- Good leadership and supervisory skills
- Proficient in MS Office and reporting systems
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations
