Job Description:
- Draft and review various agreements and other legal documents including conducting legal due diligence.
- Provide sound legal advice on potential or actual legal issues (including internal misconduct, claims, disputes, legal actions, and litigation).
- Support and assist business units in negotiating contracts with business partners
- Review, and update internal policies, rules, or regulations related to legal and compliance issues
- Handle the creation, implementation, socialization, and monitoring activities for all compliance-related matters in the company
- Build relationships with lawyers, regulators, enforcement agencies, and vendors: ensure good communication with regulators to understand and anticipate new regulations that may impact the business; manage and coordinate meaningful reporting internally and externally
Requirement:
- A bachelor's (or above) degree in Law is required
- Experienced at least 2 years in the financing industry or financial service
- Certified Advocate License is preferred
- Experienced in drafting, reviewing, and completing legal documents
- Experience in litigation cases is a plus
- Experienced in implementation and monitoring related to corporate compliance
