APPLICATION SUPPORT STAFF
Key Responsibilities
* Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve software application issues reported by users.
* User Support: Provide assistance to internal teams and external clients via helpdesk systems or direct communication.
* Documentation: Maintain detailed records of issues, resolutions, and support procedures.
* System Monitoring: Track application performance and proactively identify potential problems.
* Testing & Validation: Assist in testing new features, updates, and patches before deployment.
* Configuration & Maintenance: Support application setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
* Collaboration: Work closely with developers, system administrators, and business analysts to improve application functionality.
Requirement
* Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.)
* Knowledge of databases (SQL, MySQL)
* Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, XML, JavaScript)
* Understanding of IT service management tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
* Attention to detail and documentation skills
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
* 1–2 years of experience in application support or IT helpdesk roles
* Certifications like ITIL, CompTIA, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals are a plus
Other Requirements:
* Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and standby rotations.
* Flexibility extending working hours if required.
