About the Role

We are looking for a Finance Lead to take ownership of financial control in a fast-growing retail and e-commerce business.

This is not an accounting-focused role. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that business growth translates into cash flow, profitability, and operational efficiency.

You will work closely with management to control inventory, improve margins, and build a scalable finance system to support both online and offline expansion.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage P&L, cash flow, and financial reporting

• Provide business-driven analysis and actionable insights (not just reports)

• Manage cash flow, forecasting, and working capital to ensure healthy liquidity

• Monitor inventory performance (aging, sell-through, stock level optimization)

• Identify slow-moving or dead stock and recommend actions

• Analyze profitability by SKU, category, and sales channels

• Support pricing, promotion, and product decisions

• Evaluate performance across online and offline channels

• Build financial models, budgeting, and forecasting for business expansion

• Develop finance processes, reporting systems, and structure

• Lead and coordinate with junior team members and external parties

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Business Finance

• Strong background in retail, e-commerce, or inventory-driven businesses (mandatory)

• Solid understanding of inventory management, working capital, and SKU profitability

• Strong experience in cash flow management and financial analysis

• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills (non-negotiable)

• Experience with ERP systems is a plus

• Ability to translate data into actionable business decisions

• High ownership, proactive mindset, and strong problem-solving skills

• Comfortable working closely with management and challenging assumptions
