We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Commis Chef to join our professional kitchen team.
Job Descriptions:
Assist the superior and other kitchen team members with daily food preparation
Prepare ingredients and dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of assigned kitchen stations
Follow food hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures
Properly store and handle ingredients to maintain freshness and minimize waste
Support smooth and efficient kitchen operations during service
Qualifications:
Min. Vocational High School diploma preferably in Culinary Arts or Hospitality, but Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar position within a professional kitchen
Experience in a fine dining restaurant, steakhouse, or luxury hospitality environment is preferred
Good knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, hygiene, and food safety standards
Knowledge of sushi preparation is a plus
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Disciplined, reliable, and able to work well within a team
Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
